EU AI Act classifier

Answer eight questions about one AI system and read its outcome under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689: classification, obligation set, the date it applies and the fine ceiling. Free for one system at a time. A licence key unlocks unlimited systems in a register you can export as CSV. Summaries in Bindler's words with the article cited; the Regulation controls. Not legal advice.

Unlimited systems and CSV export

Enter a Bindler licence key to keep a register of every system on this page (stored in your browser only) and export it. Keys are sold on Gumroad for $19 and verified against Gumroad's licence service; nothing else leaves your browser.

Logic: prohibited beats everything (Article 5); then high-risk if Article 6(1) applies or an Annex III use case applies with profiling or without a valid Article 6(3) exemption; then general-purpose AI model; then Article 50 transparency; else minimal risk. Dates from Articles 111 and 113; fines from Article 99 (SMEs: the lower of the amount and the percentage, Article 99(6)). The Excel workbook does the same for a whole register with 23 obligations by role: EU AI Act Obligations Workbook.
