EU Taxonomy eligibility check

Eligibility is the first of the two questions Article 8 asks: is the activity described in the Taxonomy at all? Add a line per activity, pick the closest section from Annex I of the Climate Delegated Regulation, and enter its turnover, CapEx and OpEx. You get the eligible share of each KPI and, for every line, the criterion that alignment would then have to meet. Nothing leaves your browser.

Pick "Not in the Taxonomy" for anything the 16 climate mitigation activities do not describe: it still counts in the denominator, which is what makes the share meaningful.
Totals for the year
Leave a total blank and the sum of your lines is used instead. Same currency throughout; the tool never converts.
The workbook does the second question: alignmentEU Taxonomy Alignment Screen and Article 8 KPI Workbook, $39: the 16 criteria with their thresholds and units, DNSH applicability per activity, the minimum safeguards check and the Annex II KPI templates for turnover, CapEx and OpEx.

Rules: Regulation (EU) 2020/852, Articles 3 and 8, and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2139, Annex I (climate change mitigation), section numbers as printed. Eligible means the activity is described in the delegated act; aligned additionally requires the technical screening criterion, do no significant harm, and the minimum safeguards of Article 18. The Disclosures Delegated Act (EU) 2021/2178 sets the KPI templates. This tool checks eligibility and shares only. It is not legal or accounting advice, and the instruments control.
